Middleton will likely be one of the most familar faces among all the college prospects once the summer is over due to all the camps he will be attending.
"My (camp) roster is full," said Middleton, with a laugh. "Last night was my first night home in about a week and a half. I have gone to Middle Tennessee, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and I just back from LSU last night. Friday, I go back home, then Saturday I go to Southern Miss and Arkansas State Sunday. I'll be home Monday and Tuesday for workouts. Wednesday, I go to Clemson, Thursday and Friday I'll be in Georgia, then Saturday and Sunday I'll be at Louisville. I forgot the rest of the ones I go to after that."
The latest camp he attended was at Mississippi State. It offered something that was unique among all the camps that he has attended.
"I liked that it wasn't crowded like most of the camps I go to," said the youngster. "There were just two of us at our position so we got a lot of work and learned a lot of stuff. There was a lot of hands on training, so there was a lot of stuff I could take back home with me.
"It wasn't a long camp but we got our reps. It was fun."
Middleton received a lot of positive feedback from the Mississippi State defensive coordinator, Chris Wilson.
"He didn't tell me any negatives," said Middleton. "He told me that my fundamentals were sound. He said it was amazing how fundamentally sound I am coming from high school. He said I have a good first step on my get-off and that I have a high motor and that I am competitive. He said that he could tell that I love the game and have a passion for it."
While Middleton has been to a lot of camps, he may be receiving even more recruiting attention.
"There are a lot of schools showing interest in me - Mississippi State, Tennessee, Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama, Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss, Arkansas State, Murray State, Clemson, Purdue, UAB, Tennessee State, Grambling, Southern University, Army, Navy, Penn," said Middleton.
He's received a ton of offers as well.
"I have offers from Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, Grambling, UAB, Middle Tennessee, Southern University, Tulane, Arkansas State, Murray State, and Southern Miss said they are supposed to offer me Saturday. "
