Nelson talked about his Mississippi State camp experience.
"I liked the facilities, that's why I came down," said Nelson. "I learned a couple of drills that I can take back home."
The MSU coaches came away impressed with what they saw from Nelson during the camp.
"They said they like the way I played and that I have good breaking speed," said Nelson, "I ran a 4.22 (the second time I ran the forty at the camp). The first time I ran the forty I ran a 4.28."
The MSU camp was the third one that Nelson has attended this summer.
"I went to the Nike camp that was at the University of Memphis, then I went to another camp the following Monday at the University of Memphis," said Nelson. "(The MSU camp) is my third one."
As of now, Dontrell, a University of Memphis commitment, has four schools showing interest in him.
"Memphis, Arkansas State, UT-Martin, and Mississippi State have shown interest in me," said Dontrell.
As for offers, he has two with a third heading his way soon.
"I have offers from Memphis and Arkansas State," said Dontrell, who talked with the MSU coaches after the camp. His assistant coach informed me after the camp, via text, that he will be receiving an offer from Mississippi State also.
