State-USA Game Booked For 6:00 And PPV

One more piece in the September scheduling puzzle has dropped into place, as Mississippi State has lined up a 6:00 timeslot and pay-per-view opportunity for the home game with South Alabama.

Mississippi State's first-ever meeting with the Jaguars will be televised by the Bulldog Sports Television Network, which is the pay-per-view outlet for the University. The telecast will feature play-by-play from Bart Gregory, who also serves on both the pre- and post-game radio shows. Former MSU head coach Jackie Sherrill will provide analysis of the action at Scott Field.

The broadcast will be distributed through cable and satellite providers in the state of Mississippi along with selected markets in metropolitan Memphis and in the state of Alabama. Mississippi State anticipates the game to also be available through the ESPN GamePlan, as well as online live streaming through HailState TV for viewers who are not in the pay-per-view areas. Ordering and pricing information are yet to be announced.

All four of Mississippi State's dates in September now have kickoff times set. The 2012 season opens at home, 6:00, on September 1 against Jackson State. This contest is booked for Fox Sports Net broadcast. A week later the Bulldog's conference debut with Auburn, also at Scott Field, begins at 11:00am. The first road game, at Troy on September 15, also has a 6:00 start.
