"TCU, Alabama, UT (Texas), (Texas) A&M have offered; off the top of my head I don't remember everybody that has offered," said Taylor.
Her AAU coach, Tommy Gregg, remembered several more colleges that have offered.
"She has received offers from TCU, Texas, Michigan, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, Texas State, SMU ... there are so many I can't even remember them all. I think she has a total of around 25," said Gregg.
When you first see Taylor, you notice her height. She's around 6-foot-4. Then, when you watch her play you see her talent and hustle on the court. She not only hustles up and down the court but she's not afraid to dive on the court for a ball. She also is very team-oriented, something that she takes great pride in.
"On offense I try to make sure my teammates get the ball, I try to help them out more," said Taylor. "I think I am good offensively, but it's a team effort on offense. Defensively, I can work more on that. I try to hustle."
One other aspect of her game that is impressive is how much she talks to the other players, helping them get in the correct position on the court. Talking is something that Taylor has had to learn to do.
"Starting off my freshman year I wasn't a talker because I was shy," she said. "But the team helped me out and told me to talk on the court. That's why I talk more now."
Gregg sees leadership in his talented center.
"She didn't talk at first because we had so many juniors and seniors, now she's willing to talk on the court," he said. "She's now becoming a leader for us."
She also knows what wins games.
"Offense sells tickets but defense wins games," said Taylor.
Tall, athletic, team oriented and understanding the importance of defense. Now, you can understand why she has those 25 offers.
Taylor's AAU and high school teammate, 2013 forward Ketara Chapel, another highly recruited player, committed to Mississippi State this past weekend.
