"Right now, MTSU, UMass, Missouri, Arizona State, Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss are recruiting me," said Anderson. "I've received offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, UMass, Missouri, MTSU and Auburn."
Considering he's just now going into his junior season of basketball, Anderson is very appreciative of having received so many offers so early in his high school basketball career.
"Honestly, I didn't think I was going to get any offers," he said. "Then, when I got my first offer it made me feel so good about myself because I have been working so hard. I really appreciate the schools offering me. And I like all of the schools."
Playing for Team Thad, currently ranked No. 1 in the 16U classification by Five-Star Basketball, has also helped his recruitment and he is very appreciative of playing on such a talented team.
"I really feel blessed to be on this team," said Anderson. "I don't know where I would be if I didn't play with them. Being with these guys makes me a better player."
Anderson, who is all about winning, described his game.
"I play point guard and try to do whatever it takes to win," he said. "If it's passing the ball I'll do that. If it's scoring, then I'll do that, too. It just depends on how the game is going. I just go out there and try to win. Scoring-wise, I'm a shooter who can also drive to the basket. Defensively, I play on the help side most of the time and go for steals."
