The Preseason Southeast 150

Five of the top eight prospects in the country call the Southeast home in the class of 2013 and that quintet leads the Preseason Southeast 150...

It is a very special year in the South and I could say that every year, but with guys like Robert Nkemdiche, Reuben Foster, Laremy Tunsil, Montravius Adams, and Antonio Conner as your top five, that is an elite group leading the way.

That quintet is among the top eight prospects in the country and not even included in that group are players like the top tight end in the country, O.J. Howard, and top cornerback in the country, Vernon Hargreaves.

Like always, there is a lot of talent coming out of the South and the guys at the top are among the best in the country.

Nkemdiche has been a prospect people across the country have been talking about for 24 months and putting him in that ‘best over the last decade' category.

Foster is an animal on the field and he wows people with his hits and his speed to the ball.

Tunsil is that prototypical offensive tackle with great length, light feet, and his ability to play fast enough to keep those quick ends off his quarterback.

Adams is a prospect who Scout identified late in the summer of 2011 and he may have the most upside of any five-star in the country. He is such a dominant player with so much raw talent.

Conner is a safety that comes from one of the top programs in the south and he has a great frame to go along with his skill-set at safety.

Here is a look at's Class of 2013 Southeast 150, heading into the season.
