Zack's dad was in the Navy. Due to that, Zack has lived in Columbia (MS), Tennessee, Florida, Maryland, Virginia and a couple of other places for a very short time. They have lived in Columbia since he was in the second grade. Zack is an excellent student who has a 3.4 grade point average and a 19 ACT.

Zack Robbins Interview:

What's your maximum bench press and squat?
"The last (bench press) was 275 and my squat was 405."

Do you know what your normal 40 speed is?
"At Ole Miss, I ran a 4.9 (2nd time) and a 5.2 (1st time) for my two times."

What position do you play?
"Tight end."

Have you always played tight end?
"Last year, I played defensive tackle and a little bit of offensive tackle. I also played a little bit of outside linebacker, but not much. Mostly, I've played tight end and defensive end."

Who's sending you letters?
"Ole Miss, State, Southern (Miss), Columbia University, Nicholls State, Southeastern University."

What schools are showing the most interest?
"Mississippi State and Ole Miss."

Did you receive any calls during the May evaluation period?
"Yes sir, Coach Campbell (of Mississippi State)."

What were your impressions of him?
"He seems like a really nice man. He was really straight up. Coach Campbell also sent me a handwritten letter."

I know you attended the Nike Camp in May. Have you attended any other camps this summer?
"Yes sir, I attended Ole Miss and I'm going to (Mississippi) State next week."

Is anyone coming with you for the Mississippi State camp?
"Dwayne Ingram. He is a teammate of mine who is about 6-2, 290. He is a big, ole boy who is quick on his feet."

What schools are you most interested in at this time?
"To tell you the truth, I just want to play football at the next level."
