A look at some of the top defensive line performances over the past week and which players are standing out for their team. This is by no means all-inclusive, but just a snapshot of some of the players who had big-time performances over the weekend...

Dean DT Lance Burlingame - Burlingame started off the season well, posting 10 tackles (five assists) in Dean's 33-32 loss the Navy Prep.

Louisburg DT Javon Gopie - The talented sophomore had four tackles (three solo) and two sacks in the Hurricanes' 17-7 win over Erie.

East Mississippi DE Za'Darius Smith - Smith is a freak athlete and had a huge game in the Loins' 35-15 win over Pearl River last week, posting eight tackles (six solo) and one sack.

Butte DE Bobby Falagai - Falagai was outstanding for the Roadrunners last week in their 22-17 win over Feather River, posting six tackles (three solo) and 2.5 sacks.

L.A. Harbor DT Jarrell Wright - In Harbor's big 35-20 win over Cerritos, Wright was just a stud in the middle, posting 11 tackles (six solo) and 3.5 sacks.

Palomar DE Arnold Vo'a - Palomar downed El Camino 20-7 and Vo'a, a freshman, was a big reason why, posting five tackles (two solo) and 2.5 sacks.

Snow DE Tre James - James is off to a great start on the season, helping the Badgers to a 2-0 record by posting seven tackles and four sacks.

Kilgore DE Xavier Davis - The freshman from Monroe, Louisiana had a solid debut for the Rangers, posting three tackles and 1.5 sacks in their 26-15 win over Dodge City.

Saddleback DE Jake Belnap - The Gauchos lost to Mt. San Antonio 51-48, so there wasn't a lot of defense played, however, Belnap was one of the exceptions posting three tackles and two sacks from his defensive end position.

College of the Canyons DE Justyn Eddins - Eddins was solid in Canyons' 25-19 loss to Golden West, posting five tackles (three solo) and 1.5 sacks.

Hutchinson DT Ben Bradley - Bradley has done his job so far for the Blue Dragons this season, helping to stuff the run while racking up eight tackles in two games.

Navarro DT Terrell Brooks - Brooks, a bounceback from North Texas, is off to a great start with the Bulldogs this season, posting 10 tackles (three solo) in their 54-34 win over Hutchinson last weekend.
