A lot going on for Kevin Palma
Kevin Palma, one of the elite linebackers in the west region, took his first official visit of the year last weekend and said he loved his time at Colorado. "The trip went real well, I liked it a lot," Palma said. "I loved the area, Boulder is a great city, a real college town. I liked the stadium and the fans and even though the game was a little rough for them, they have some good young players and I think they'll turn it around. "Coach Embree is a great guy and the whole staff was very friendly. I spent a lot of time with Coach Cabral, the linebacker coach and we have a very good relationship. Marques Mosley was my host and he was cool, all the players were great with me and I had a really good time." Palma will visit Oregon State this weekend and expect him to visit another Pac 12 school that just offered. "Stanford offered me and I'm definitely excited about that one," Palma said. "I camped there in the summer and also went to the game with USC. They had been talking to me since the spring so I kind of thought an offer could be coming but it still felt really good to get one from them. "I haven't set up anything with them yet but I'll be taking an official visit there for sure. I'm not sure when that will be, if it will be during or after the season, but I'll get over there at some point." For now, Palma said he's open to all of his schools he's looking at and won't be making a decision until after he takes all of his trips.
