Vonleh Trims List to Six

Noah Vonleh reclassified to the 2013 about a month ago. Now, he is ready to put recruiting in full swing. The 5-star forward has trimmed his list to six schools. He spoke with CuseNation.com about why each school made the list.

Noah Vonleh was already attracting a lot of attention from schools across the country. With his reclassification to the 2013 class, his recruitment has sped up. Vonleh has now trimmed his list to six schools.

"Yeah I cut my list," he said. "Syracuse, North Carolina, Georgetown, Indiana, UConn, and Ohio State."

The programs Vonleh has listed are some of college basketball's elite. Each program was selected for a specific reason.

"Syracuse is a great program that has similar players to me and has sent some players to the league.

"UConn is a great program that sends a lot of players to the league.

"Indiana is starting to come back where it used to be.

"Ohio State is always a good program.

"UNC has had so many great players and I could hopefully be a part of that.

"Georgetown prepares players for the NBA."

Originally, Vonleh was supposed to attend Syracuse's midnight madness. However, due to NCAA official visit rules, he did not attend.

In order for a prospect to take an official visit, he must have his SAT scores. Since the scores had not come in yet, he decided to hold off on the visit.

Vonleh still plans on taking his official visit to Syracuse, though a date has not been set yet.
