The No. 2 ranked Wildcats staved off Oklahoma State -- racking up 44 points of offense along the way.
"Had a great trip at K-State," Broughton explained. "I am really interested in their school. They seemed interested in me too. Great atmosphere and they have a real family attitude there. Just what I am looking for in a school. A bigger Kearney."
Broughton loved the family feel and the fact that the Wildcats staff seemed to be very interested in his talents, but he also liked what he saw in the gameday environment.
"The atmosphere and the fan base at the game, Broughton answered when asked what the highlight for him was. "Talking with the players and coaches I felt they really love it at K-State. They are a family there at K-State and you feel it when you walk in the door.
"(I) would love to play there because that is what I am looking for in a program. I have to say they are in the top two of schools I would love to play football with right now."
K-State is not the only program showing legit interest in the 'Show Me State' junior.
