Trevor Walker, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound safety from Mansfield (Texas) Timberview High will be ending his recruiting process on Friday at 2:00 PM CST during an announcement ceremony in the Performing Arts Center at his high school.

The Scout.com three-star prospect had announced earlier in the week that he had narrowed his focus down to Washington, Ole Miss, Boise State and Vanderbilt.

But now the list has paired down even further and he has limited his focus down the home-stretch to just three.

"It's down to three now," Walker's father confirmed. "Really now it is down to Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Washington."

Pac 12 and SEC fans should be watching closely to his announcement as Walker has the type of talent to come in and make an impact early in his career.

Walker is a prospect with a nice blend of skills. He is great in coverage and has also been working hard to become a complete player and downhill banger at the position as a senior.

"This season I know I was better at sticking my nose on the ball," Walker said of his skill set. "That is just like everybody on the defense. Everybody went where the ball was. We flew around, we were physical and that is the best part about me and my team throughout this season."

Arkansas -- under the direction of newly appointed head coach Bret Bielema – tried to make a late push, but he was already firmly set with his three finalists.

All-in-all Walker visited around nine schools before settling down to the three programs he liked the best.

Scout.com's Erin Hartigan will be on hand for the announcement ceremony and providing live updates.
