S Rico McGraw Profile
The recipient of that offer was Ensworth High School [Nashville] sophomore Rico McGraw.
"They told my coaches. One of my coaches talked to Dabo [Swinney]. One of my coaches told me a couple of days ago," McGraw said last week during an interview with CUTigers.
The 6-foot, 190-pound prospect doesn't know much about Clemson right now, but he hopes to change that later this year.
"I definitely want to try to learn about them. I'm going to try to camp and visit there this summer. Hopefully, I can get up there," he said.
McGraw holds over 15 offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, LSU, Ole Miss, UNC, South Carolina and Virginia Tech.
"I won't say I have a favorite right now. A couple of schools have my attention because of the interest they've shown in me," he said.
And those schools are?
"Alabama, South Carolina, LSU and Ole Miss, they've shown pretty good interest."
Even though the schools he listed are all in the SEC, McGraw isn't dead set on playing in the conference.
"Those are the schools that are showing the most interest. It's a coincidence," he said.
As a sophomore, McGraw had 28 tackles, two interceptions and 13 pass breakups. He also caught six passes for 85 yards.
