Louisville set to host two visitors

The University of Louisville football staff will host two official visitors on the final weekend before national signing day. The Cardinals are expected to host commitment Donel Elam and New Orleans linebacker Lyn Clark. Cardinal Authority has all of the details of the visits.

With just a few days before national signing day remaining, the University of Louisville football staff is still working on the Class of 2013.

The staff will host a pair of prospects – including U of L commitment Donel Elam – for official visits this weekend on campus.

Elam, a safety from Orange Park, Fla., will make his official along with New Orleans O. Perry Walker linebacker Lyn Clark. Both prospects are expected to arrive on campus at some point on Friday.

"I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like," Clark told Cardinal Authority.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Elam committed to U of L last February after attending the Cardinals' Junior Day. He had been recruited by several other schools during the summer and fall but has remained committed to the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Clark had been committed to Tulane until recently. He told Cardinal Authority he will pick between U of L, Tulane and Louisiana Tech early next week after making his final visit.

Clark is a two-star linebacker and considered an under-the-radar prospect in Louisiana after a senior season that saw him rack up 111 tackles.

Cardinal Authority will have reaction after the visits.
