John Hardin star Wade Holtsclaw has decided to walk-on at Eastern Kentucky.
"I'm going to Eastern Kentucky as a preferred walk-on," said Holtsclaw. "I feel like I can be successful there and earn a scholarship in the next year or so."
Derik Overstreet got a chance to meet with coaches from a couple of in-state schools recently and he'll also be taking a Junior Day visit.
"Murray State and Kentucky came to my school to talk to me," Overstreet said.
Overstreet felt a different vibe from the new Kentucky staff.
"They seem like they actually care about recruiting in-state. They said they'd be watching me," he continued.
"I'm also going to Louisville's Junior Day and I was invited to a Nike Camp," he finished.
St. Xavier defensive back Dekota Jones feels like an offer could be on its way. And he plans on taking some Junior Day trips.
"I'm taking a trip to Ball State, Furman and SEMO once the weather gets better," said Jones. "SEMO really likes me and I'm close to offers from them and Ball State," he finished.
