"I've been getting love from LSU," said Charlot, who collected his first two offers from Arizona State and Mississippi State. "LSU says I run great routes and show my explosiveness when I come off the line.
"I've been hearing the most from LSU. They really want me to come play for them. Everybody seems to know me when I visit. Mykel Jones (2016 WR) and I got a lot of shout-outs from fans at the spring game. I really like LSU, and they say they really like me. They're talking about offering sometime during spring."
What about Florida State?
"Coach (Lawrence) Dawsey wants to get Mykel and me," Charlot related. "He's telling me the same thing as LSU...how they can prepare me for the next level. I visited Florida State with Deshawn Raymond and Xavier Lewis when we were in Tallahassee for 7v7.
Louisiana's crop of 2015 wide receivers is talented and deep, just like the 2014 group.
"I'm working hard to be number one," Charlot declared. "I want to be the number one receiver."
