"La Tech, Murray State, Jackson State, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Troy, Alabama, Arkansas, Western Kentucky, Ole Miss are recruiting me," said Stapleton.
So far, he has two offers.
"Murray State and La Tech have offered," said Stapleton. "(Mississippi State head) Coach (Rick) Ray said he's going to watch me in July."
Stapleton, who recently camped at Mississippi State, gave his thoughts about the in-state school.
"I like it at Mississippi State," he said. "I like the environment. They show you a lot of love and make you feel at home."
He also came away impressed with the head man, Rick Ray.
"Coach Ray seems like a good coach, a good man, an honest man," said Stapleton. "Everything that he has told me has been true."
He had the chance to talk one-on-one with Ray after the camp. Ray explained what he likes about him.
"Coach Ray said he likes how I can shoot the ball," said Stapleton. "He said there aren't many players who can shoot like me. He said he likes how tall and long I am and that I can bring the ball up the court and that I am a good dribbler."
