How long have you been playing for the DeMarini Roadrunners?
"I have been playing with them for four years now."

How has it helped your game to play for them?
"It helps me a lot, especially the coaches. They do a great job."

How has it helped you to play the teams that you are playing against during the summer?
"Pretty much every team we play is going to put up a good fight against us. That experience helps me a lot."

What schools are showing recruiting interest in you?
"Right now Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, LSU, Georgia and Mississippi State. A lot of the schools have contacted my coach and told him that they are interested in me."

If you have talked to coaches at any of those schools what have they told you that they like about you?
"I've talked to Wake Forest. They said they like how I throw lefthanded and the fact that I hit 88 the other day."

Have you talked to any other college coaches?
"I've visited LSU a couple of times and they are interested in me, too. But that is more as an outfielder."

What position are schools recruiting you for?
"LSU for outfielder. Most of the other schools are recruiting me as a pitcher."

What do you know about the schools that are showing interest in you?
"I know that LSU has a great program just from talking to Paul Byrd. He loves them. Mississippi State, I've heard about them lightly because of the College World Series. I didn't know a lot about Wake Forest but I did some research about them and they are a really good academic school."

This past high school season, Connor had a 2.25 earned run average with a 6-0 won-lost record. He was selected as a Perfect Game 2013 Underclass All-American Honorable Mention.
