  • What is your height and weight?
    "I'm about 6-foot-5, 305 pounds."

Since I last saw you it looks like you have change the look of your body?
"Yeah, I'm gotten in better shape. I was pretty big then. I've hit the weights hard, just trying to get better every day. I feel good at this weight and I can move better."

Do you still want to add or subtract a few pounds?
"I'm happy where I'm at. Football-wise, I just want to get better in everything, get faster feet and just move better."

Are you trying to be one of the leaders on the offensive line?
"Yeah, I'm trying to be a leader, trying to do a better job of that. I'm trying to lead the team when we are down by trying to pick them up. Even when we are down we have to keep our head on straight. We have to think about the next play, don't think about the last play because it can mess you up for the next play. You have to go hard every play."

Switching over to your team. How good do you think East Mississippi Community College will be this season?
"I want to go all the way but we have to take it one game at a time because we can't overlook anybody. We want to take it one game at a time and one play at a time."

What do you think about this team talent-wise?
"I think we are a solid team. The O-line is moving better and we are very athletic as an O-line. The wide outs are very skilled. The quarterback is really good. The whole team is really good. We just have to bring it all together and we'll be alright."

What do you think are the strengths of this team?
"Speed, we move the ball really fast. I think that is what we are good at."

Not only is this team good but you also have great facilities, don't you? You have a great stadium and a great, new student union.
"It's nice. They really love us here. They make the campus look really nice. We have a good time down here."

It's obvious that you are a talented player. And college coaches are showing that by how highly you are being recruited. What colleges are currently recruiting you?
"Texas A&M, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Louisiana Lafayette. I talked to Florida yesterday. There are a lot more schools than that."

Are you graduating in December or in the spring?
    "Hopefully, in December."

How do you deal with so many schools recruiting you?
"I'm focusing on the team and school right now. Those are the most important things right now. I'll focus on the other things later."

Have you narrowed your list down
"I can say Kentucky, Ohio State, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, but I'm still in the process. I'll focus on that later."

When will you cut it down to your final list?
"I'll cut it down by the time December comes."
