  • Talk about your team's game Thursday night. You won 69-0.
    "We played good and did our assignments. Coach went through a lot of things with us. We just played our game."

    Individually, how you do you feel you did?
    "I played my game and did what I was supposed to. But I could have done better."

    Describe your game.
    "I am a run-stopper. I can put my hands on somebody and get them out of the way. I'm also trying my hardest to be a pass-rusher. It will come."

    Switching over to recruiting, who is showing interest in you?
    "Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee, Mississippi State and Oklahoma State."

    What colleges have offered so far?
    "Oklahoma State, Mississippi State and Tennessee have offered."

    When did you receive the offers?
    "OSU was a few weeks ago. Tennessee offered when I first got here. And Mississippi State was last week."

    Did it surprise you that you received those offers as a freshman?
    "Yes sir, it did. Talking to some of the other guys, they said they didn't get much interest or offers as freshmen."

    How does it make you feel knowing that you already have three offers and you have just started your freshman season at East Mississippi Community College?
    "It feels good. It tells me they see what I am trying to accomplish. I know somebody is watching me."

    Are you going to try and visit any of the colleges recruiting you during the football season?
    "Yes sir, I'm going to try and take a few within the next few weeks."

    What are you going to be looking at on the visits?
    "I want to meet the coaches and get to know them. I also want to see if I can get some playing time my first year. I want to see who they will have there when I get there. I just want to go in and make some plays."
