"I'm receiving interest from Mississippi State, Middle Tennessee State, Vanderbilt, Arkansas and Jacksonville State," said Williams, a 2013 honorable mention AISA All-State selection. "Jacksonville State has offered me."
He hopes to attend a couple of college Junior Days this coming spring.
"I plan on going to Junior Days at Mississippi State and Arkansas, especially," said Williams. "And really all the schools that are showing interest in me."
Not only is he a big wide receiver at 6-foot-4, 197, but he is also very versatile.
"I'm extremely versatile, catch the ball well and run really good routes," said Williams.
What sets him apart from most other high school wide receivers is one unique skill that he has.
"I like blocking a lot and most wide receivers don't," he said. "That probably sets me apart from other wide receivers."
Williams helped his team to a 12-2 record and a runnerup spot in the 2013 AISA Class A championship game.
