Harris Planning Trips

Jordan Harris committed to Mississippi State back in June. Several programs have maintained some level of interest in the talented tackle, but throughout the process Harris has maintained his allegiance to the Maroon and White. The Bulldog commitment and his family will be on the move the next couple of weekends visiting two schools.

Jordan Harris profile

"Mississippi State is the only official visit I have set up and I am going to visit there in two weeks," said Harris. "Next week, I am going to Hampton with my brother and my family.

"My brother Joe is finishing up at Georgia Military and he's taking a visit to Hampton to see if he wants to go there.

"We're all going over there with him."

The talented three star tackle reports that he had the chance to watch his future team, Mississippi State, in action in the Liberty Bowl.

"I was impressed with how they got that win over Rice," said Harris. "I got the chance to watch the third quarter and they did whatever they wanted to do.

"I thought it was a good win.

"I got the chance to talk to the coaches after the bowl game and we set up my official then."

Harris was slowed a bit by injury during the season, but the talented big man is on the mend.

"My foot is probably about 85%, but I am doing good," said Harris. "I have been in the weight room and I have been on the court playing some basketball.

"I am playing the five and I feel like I have played pretty well.

"I am making a contribution.

"I am having fun playing. I started on basketball once football was over."

Two weeks from now, Harris will be beginning his official visit to Mississippi State.

The Stephenson High standout is eager to get on campus.

"I am ready to see everything and meet everybody," said Harris. "I am looking forward to going out there and having some fun and getting to know everybody better."
