Fairfield, Ala., Restoration Academy offensive lineman Deion Calhoun gave a verbal commitment to Mississippi State on Christmas Day.
But Calhoun isn't finished with recruiting.
With about 10 scholarship offer, Calhoun picked up an offer from the new Louisville staff on Tuesday night and told Cardinal Authority that he will make a visit later this month.
The 6-foot-3, 301-pound Calhoun said he has chatted with offensive coordinator Garrick McGee and defensive assistant L.D. Scott. McGee was recruiting him when he was at UAB, while Scott was recruiting him at Western Kentucky.
Calhoun said he "didn't know a lot about" Louisville before chatting with the two coaches but will make a visit to campus on Jan. 31.
Calhoun said he's still committed to the Bulldogs but is intrigued by U of L.
"I like the coaches there," he said, noting that he "has a good relationship with them."
Calhoun played on the offensive and defensive line in high school but is projected on the offensive side of the ball in college.
