"I had a great visit at Mississippi State," said Harris. "Everything about the visit was great.
"I really enjoyed myself."
Harris had the chance to spend a lot of time with some of the current Mississippi State players.
"Chris told me that everyday up there you have to grind. He says that they really work hard.
"He told me that if you practice the hardest and play the best that you are going to play.
"He says that they believe in playing the best players no matter how long they've been there."
Harris reports that he and his parents were able to spend some quality time with Coach Dan Mullen.
"My parents spent some time with Coach, but then he wanted to spend some one-on-one time with me," explained Harris. "He told me that they really wanted me there.
"He said that if I thought Mississippi State was the best fit for me, then I needed to get on board, but if it wasn't that I needed to let them know.
"I didn't feel like he was pressuring me, but he was being honest with me.
"I told him that I was enjoying everything about the visit and that Mississippi State was at the top now."
While the Bulldogs have made a strong move with the instate three star, Harris has stopped short of making a public declaration of his college intentions.
"I am visiting Miami next weekend and then I am supposed to go to Southern Miss on the 31st," said Harris. "I am not sure if I will commit before signing day or not or I may not go public with a commitment.
"I may just wait and let everybody find out on signing day."
