"It was a good weekend," said Cooper of the visit. "Dezz Harris was my host.
"He was a good guy.
"He told me all about Coach (Geoff) Collins and how things go.
"He told me how hard they work and all of the things they do as players.
"He introduced me to a lot of the players."
Cooper reports that he spent some time with a pair of Bulldog dignitaries during the official visit.
"We got to go visit with the president (Dr. Mark Keenum) and we went to Coach (Dan) Mullen's house," said Cooper. "That was a lot of fun and my parents enjoyed all of that.
"We got to see the campus and we got to see all of the facilities.
"My parents really liked it over there."
Before returning to Georgia, Cooper had the chance to speak with Coach Dan Mullen about what to expect next season.
"Coach Mullen talked to me about staying on top of my grades and giving my best in the classroom and on the football field," said Cooper. "He told me to keep working hard and come in ready to work this summer.
"After the visit, I have no doubts about where I am going to be next year.
"I had a great visit to Mississippi State and I am looking forward to coming back over here."
