"It was 56 degrees and raining," said the junior, who clocked a combine-best 4.49 in the 40 with a power ball throw of 39 feet.
"I feel great about it. I'm going to do the one in New Orleans to see if I can get my score up a little higher (from Saturday's 106.95 rating)."
The son of J.J. McCleskey, a former NFL standout with the Saints and Cardinals, talked more about combines and recruiting.
"It might be warmer with better conditions in New Orleans," he said. "The last visit I took was to Oklahoma State. It was about two weeks ago. It was nice.
"It was junior day, so we toured the facilities and locker room. I talked with the wide receivers coach. I mostly talked with Coach (Eric) Henderson, who told me they like me. We got together into position groups and watched some film of drills they do."
McCleskey is waiting for his first offer.
Who does he expect to pull the trigger first?
"LSU," he said. "I just think that if I go the camp and show out, that they'll offer. I'm being recruited by Coach (Adam) Henry, the receivers coach. He said to do what I have to do, come to the camp, and that it will take off from there."
