"When I first moved back after Katrina, I went to a high school the didn't have football," said Webb. "I really wanted to play, so I changed schools my tenth grade year and I ended up playing in the last three games.
"Last year, due to some injuries I ended up starting on both sides of the ball and things went good."
The 6-3, 260 pounder created some buzz for himself and is now the beneficiary of three college offers.
"I like all of the offers that I have, especially Mississippi State."
Webb has not visited Starkville yet, but he plans to check out the Bulldogs in the coming weeks.
"I went to Tulane when they gave me the offer and I am going to Louisiana Tech on March 15th," said Webb. "I want to see Mississippi State soon, so I can see what all they have up there.
"I have been talking to them and I like what all they have had to say."
While Webb has proven to be a top performer on both sides of the football, he prefers to play defensive tackle.
"I can play offensive line, but I just have more of passion for defense," said Webb. "I just like hitting people more than blocking.
"Playing offensive line is sort of boring sometimes.
"I like being able to make plays on defense. I just feel like that's what I am good at."
Webb is not planning to make an early decision and is currently receiving interest from several programs that have not extended an offer just yet.
"I like all of the schools that have offered me," said Webb. "There are some other schools that are in touch with me too that might end up offering me.
"I am going to LSU's O line/ D line camp in August too."
