Bulldogs Make Four

Tristian Houston is doing his best to raise his stock as a college football prospect. Houston has worked hard and made it count where it matters most, which is on the field. Houston's hard charging style has netted him a quartet of early scholarship offers with Mississippi State being the most recent to throw their hats into the ring.

"Mississippi State offered me today," said Houston. "I don't know a whole lot about them, but I talked with them and they told me about the offer.

"They said that I was a great back and that I would be a great fit for their offense."

Houston has no connections to Mississippi that he is aware of, so the offer was a bit of a surprise.

The Bulldogs are just the most recent offer for the Galena Park, Texas back.

"I have offers now from Mississippi State, LSU, Oregon State and UCLA," said Houston. "I am getting interest from Texas and Baylor too.

"I went to both of their junior days."

Houston admits that he has a lot of thinking to do, but that he is no rush to make a decision.

"I am probably going to wait until after the season and then make my decision," said Houston. "The main thing I am going to be looking at is how many backs they have and how soon I can get on the field."

Houston denies having a leader at this point and reports that he wants to wait out the process to see how things go during his senior season.
