"I have heard from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State, Kentucky, South Carolina, Louisville, UAB, Troy, Memphis, Southern Miss and a bunch of other schools," said Furlow. "I have offers from Alabama State and Mississippi State so far."
Due to his team's extended basketball season, Furlow has not had the chance to attend many junior day events, but he hopes to change that soon.
"I am going over to UAB this weekend and then I am planning to go to Mississippi State the next weekend," said Furlow. "Mississippi State has been trying to get me over there, but I haven't been able to go yet."
While the talented offensive lineman has not been able to meet the Bulldogs in person, Furlow has remained in touch with the coaches responsible for his recruitment.
"I have talked to Coach (John) Hevesy and Coach (Deshea) Townsend," said Furlow. "I already feel really comfortable with both of them and I am looking forward to meeting them.
"I know Mississippi State is a team on the rise and I am excited about the offer.
"I want to get over there and meet the coaches and the players and see how the environment is."
So far, the Bulldogs have not explained exactly where they plan to use Furlow should he elect to them up on their scholarship offer.
"They came to watch me play a basketball game and then they called my coach and offered me," said Furlow. "They want to see me and then I guess we'll talk about where they want me to play on the line.
"I am open and just want to help my team win."
