"I had a great time at Mississippi State," said Tiano. "My dad and I came down last night.
"We drove around the town and we just sort of fell in love with everything.
"The new football facility is top notch. It's as nice as anything we've seen anywhere else."
In addition to taking in the lay of the land, Tiano and his father were able to see the Bulldogs in action in the first open scrimmage of the spring.
"I really liked the energy of the team," said Tiano. "I watched the quarterbacks a lot and tried to pick up some things from them.
"I like how Coach Brian Johnson coaches. I had the chance to watch him with the quarterbacks and I was able to sit in on the quarterbacks' meeting.
"I had the chance to speak with Coach Mullen and we talked a little bit about some of the quarterbacks he has coached and about how I would fit in."
The Bulldogs stopped short of extending a scholarship offer today, but it appears that there is a rising sense of optimism about that option being exercised in the coming weeks.
"Coach Johnson said that he wants to come and see me throw in person this spring," said Tiano. "I am not sure what day he is coming, but we start spring practice May 5th.
"Coach Johnson told me that he liked what he's seen of me and that he likes my film and that he wants to have a chance to see me throw live."
The prospect of a Bulldog offer is something that the talented signal caller reports that he would welcome.
"It looks like I may get an offer from them in the next couple of months," said Tiano. "The people down there are so nice and they really make you fell welcome.
"It's only about three and half hours from home, so that's not too bad and I love the offense that they run.
"It's a great campus, they have great facilities and the coaches and players are all great.
"I think Mississippi State would be a great option for me if they offered."
