Danley Taking It All In

Jamal Danley is quickly becoming one of the most coveted junior college offensive lineman in the country. Danley has seen his offer list grow considerably over the course of the spring evaluation period and more options appear to be on their way. Danley is on pace to graduate in December, so college recruiters are jockeying for position.

"The last offer I got was from LSU," said Danley. "There are a lot of other schools in touch with me, but that was the last offer.

"I wouldn't say that anyone leads right now, but I would say right now that LSU and Oklahoma are recruiting me the hardest.

"I hear from Oklahoma pretty much everyday and I am hear from LSU every week.

"It's been a minute since I heard from Mississippi State."

While the Bulldogs have not been in touch as frequently as before, Danley plans to be in Starkville soon.

"I am going to go see a few schools this summer and see how things are," said Danley. "I know I am going to Mississippi State and I plan on getting down to Baton Rouge.

"I may go to Oklahoma, but I don't know yet. It's just going to depend on what me and dad decide to go.

"I know we want to go visit as many schools as we can."

The talented big man made the move from offensive guard this spring in anticipation of playing offensive tackle this fall.

"I feel like I made the transition pretty well," said Danley. "There are a few things I need to work on, but I feel like things went pretty good.

"I am going to be here all summer with the team working to get ready for the season.

"I feel like we're going to have a good season and I know it will be here before we know it."
