Ole Miss is set to bring in one of the top 10 junior recruiting classes. We take an in-depth look at the class of 2015.

1. Micah McHugh – SS – Zachary, La. - Zachary High School – 6-2, 210 – bats R, throws R - Named the Baton Rouge Player of the Week after going 5-8 with a HR and six RBIs this past week. Plays for the Marucci Broncos travel league team. He was also a preseason All-Area selection. Diamond King ranked Micah the #22 prospect in the USSA league. Ranked the #59 junior in the country by the Player Report. McHugh turned down his home state school, LSU, to commit to the Rebels.

2. Ryan Olenek – MIF – Mount Dora, Fla. - Trinity Preparatory – 6-4, 170, bats R, throws R - 3rd Team All-American as a sophomore by Perfect Games. Has helped Trinity Prep to a 17-2 start to the season and are currently in the quarterfinals for Class 4A in the state of Florida. Ranked as the #33 overall player in the state of Florida by Florida Baseball Report. Ranked the #17 player in the state of Florida by the Player Report.


3. Nick Fortes – C/1B – Deland, Fla., High School – 6-0, 205– bats R, throws R - Ranked the #21 overall player in the junior class by Perfect Games. First Team Underclassman All-American by Perfect Games. Plays for the Orlando Scorpions. Can throw it from home to second base in 1.9 seconds. The DeLand junior catcher is batting an area-best .488. He is also leading the area in home runs (three) and RBIs (21). Video of Nick in a skills competition. Bio of his accomplishments. Has helped team to Class 8A Finals.


4. Ray Alejo – SS/2B - Orlando, Fla. – Boone High School – 6-0, 175 – bats R, throws R - Third Team Underclassmen All-Ameircan by Perfect Games. Runs a 6.67 sixty yard dash. Here is some video of Ray at a skills competition. Rated the #45 prospect in Florida by the Player Report. One of the top 25 hitting prospects in the junior class by Scout.com. Plays for the Orlando Scorpions along with several Ole Miss current players and future commits. Ranked the #127 player in the junior class by Perfect Games.

5. Carson Flepzig - C - S'Haven, Miss. - DeSoto Central - 6-0, 185 - Bats L, throws R - Known as a defensive specialist behind the plate. Helped DeSoto Central to the North Half Championship. One of five seniors off of squad to commit to a D1 program. Has a career .998 fielding percentage.

6. D.J. Miller - OF - Granite, Ill. - 6- 2, 170 - Bats R, throws R - The speedster was offered by Ole Miss and Alabama after he blew up this past spring. Coming off a .389 season with 13 doubles, two triples, one home run and 16 RBIs along with a team-leading 42 runs scored, Miller pushed his way to the attention of high-level college programs this summer. His high school has a former Ole Miss players Brett Huber and Althoff High as their pitching coach this summer.


7. Connor Green –RHP/1B – Collierville, Tenn. – St. George’s Independent School – 6-4, 215 – bats R, throws R. Plays for Dulins Dodgers. 2014 Underclass High Honorable Mention by Perfect Games.

8. John Creel – RHP – Huntersville, N.C. – Lake Norman Charter School – 6-4, 190 – bats L, throws R - 2014 Underclass 2nd Team by Perfect Games. Video of John pitching. Consensus top 100 prospect in the junior class. Plays for the Dirtbagers. Personal article on Creel from Under the Gun. Committed to Ole Miss in October of '13 over programs like North Carolina, South Carolina, Vandy, Clemson, and Miami.


9. Andy Pagnozzi – RHP/3B - Fayetteville, Ark. – Fayetteville East High School – 6-0, 190 – bats R, throws R - Son of former MLB All-Star Tom Pagnozzi. 2014 Underclass 1st Team by Perfect Games. Consensus top 50 junior prospect. Touches it in the 91 MPH range with a nasty curveball and change up. Plays for the Marucci Elite. VIP interview with Andy and his father. 10. Dallas Woolfolk – RHP/1B/3B – Southaven, Miss. – Desoto Central High School – 6-3, 225 – bats R, throws R - 2014 Underclass 2nd Team by Perfect Games. Another big strong powerful pitcher who touches it in the low 90's and throws a curveball and a nasty slider. Will most likely be a closer on the next level. Dandy Dozen selection as a junior by Clarion Ledger. Plays for East Coast Baseball summer league travel team. Article on his commitment to Ole Miss. Ranked the #94 junior in the country by USSA.
