Polk currently has eleven offers and he's visiting several of those schools as well as a couple of others during the next couple of weeks. He's mainly focusing on the SEC and ACC right now.
"In the SEC I have interest from Mississippi State and Florida and Mizzou a little bit and in the ACC I have Virginia, Florida State, Duke and Wake Forest," said Polk. "I'm going to Duke Saturday, then Wake Forest, Virginia,Georgia and Florida. I think that's about it."
He's visiting each school with an open mind.
"I'm trying to stay as unbiased as possible," said Polk, who hopes to make his college choice decision sometime in July. "I plan on going to each camp and figure out what the coaches are like, see what the campus is like, get a little academic knowledge about my major at each school."
Polk enjoyed the Mississippi State camp and felt like he learned several things from MSU offensive line coach that will help him during his senior season.
"I definitely got some tips today that will help me with my game a little bit," said the talented lineman. "Coach Hevesy told me to keep my hands in, keep my knees inside of your toes, keep my weight balanced, keep my core tight, don't take too big of steps, keep a short jump, and mirror the guy in front of me."
