Womack is straight to the point when asked why he came to the Mississippi State camp.
"I came to the camp to try and impress the coaches," said the talented youngster.
And he did that very thing.
"I received an offer from Mississippi State after the camp," said Womack, who received the offer from MSU head coach Dan Mullen. "Basically, (Coach Mullen) said they have been wanting to offer for awhile. Then, he gave me the offer."
Womack has liked Mississippi State for a few months now and now, thanks to the offer, he knows how much they like him.
"Mississippi State is definitely one of my top schools, but they have been one of the top schools that I have liked for awhile now," he said.
With the offer from MSU on record, another SEC school decided to offer as well, Ole Miss. He had camped at Ole Miss the day prior to the MSU camp.
Womack will likely attend a couple of more SEC camps this coming week.
"I still plan on going to LSU Monday, then probably South Carolina," said Womack.
He is in no hurry to make a decision.
"I will probably make my decision sometime this summer," he said.
Womack credits the transformation of his body for the success that he is having at the college camps.
"From this year to last year my body has completely changed," said Womack. "Last year I could barely block anybody, but I improved a lot from last year to this year."
