"This was my first camp this summer," said Bonner. "I learned to compete and push myself. I feel like I did good in the one-on-ones."
He enjoyed working with MSU defensive line coach David Tuner.
"I liked everything about him as a coach," said Bonner. "He pushed me in the drills, wanting me to go fullspeed."
He also really liked Mississippi State.
"It's a great place," said Bonner. "When we pulled up here I thought (to myself that) I liked that stadium, I want to play here. I really want to come here."
Bonner plans on camping at several other colleges this summer.
"I'm also camping at Kentucky this Thursday, then I'm going to South Alabama and Southern Miss," he said.
He explained why he's attending the camps.
"I'm coming to camps to show them my speed in footwork drills because the coaches that I have talked to have told me that they want me to come to their camps so they can see me run and see my speed," said Bonner.
Bonner is receiving a great deal of recruiting attention.
"Memphis, Kentucky, Middle Tennessee State, Appalachian State, Troy, UAB, Southern Miss, South Alabama and Mississippi State are recruiting me," he said. "All of those schools have offered me."
He's very thankful to have so many offers.
"It is exciting to have all of those offers," said the talented defensive end. "My first offer came from Appalachian State. Then all the rest of them came in about one week. It was back when I was in school back in March."
As of now, he has no timeframe for making his college choice.
"I really haven't thought about when I'll make my decision," said Bonner.
