Wiltz, who has only been playing football for two years, learned quite a bit while at the MSU camp.
"I learned that I definitely need to continue working on my footwork," said Wiltz. "I'm quick but I need to be better with my footwork. (MSU offensive line) Coach (John) Hevesy said I need to work on my footwork but he said there are a lot of things that he likes about me. He said he's going to continue watching film of me and we'll see what happens."
The MSU camp was his first time to visit Mississippi State. And he came away impressed with what he saw.
"This is my first time to be on the (Mississippi State) campus," he said. "I didn't really know much about Mississippi State until (MSU quarterback) Coach (Brian) Johnson called me. I definitely like the school and all of the facilities. I like their line coach a lot. He seems like a good coach. And I like that it's not in a big city. I'm definitely more interested in them since I've had a chance to come here."
Mississippi State is one of twelve colleges that are recruiting the talented lineman.
"I have 10 offers so far, the Cincinnati Bearcats, the University of Central Florida, UL-Lafayette, Louisiana Tech, Southern Miss, South Alabama, the University of Houston. McNeese State, Nichols State and Stephen F. Austin," said Wiltz. "I'm also getting some looks from some other big schools such as Mississippi State and LSU."
Keep it on Scout.com and GenesPage.com as we continue to follow the recruitment of this very talented member of the class of 2015.
