Irvin had a good experience at the Mississippi State camp.
"My experience at the Mississippi State was real good," he said. "The drills the coach had us doing helped me a lot. The coaching was real good. I know what I need to work on now."
He also left with a very good impression of Mississippi State.
"They have a good atmosphere here and they like to work hard," said Irvin. "They are like a family."
MSU was his third college to visit this summer. And he has plans on visiting several others.
"I've gone to MTSU and visited Auburn and I plan on going to Louisville and Vanderbilt," said Irvin.
Irvin has numerous schools recruiting, including several that have offered.
"I currently have seven offers, from UAB, Western Kentucky, Jacksonville State, UT-Martin, Illinois State, schools like that," he said. "And I have interest from Auburn, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Arkansas and Mississippi State."
His size is one of the main reasons college coaches like him.
"They like how physical I am and the big plays that I make," said Irvin, who measured in at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds at the MSU camp. "I play receiver and safety but the coaches don't know where I will play on the next level."
