One of the up and coming big men in the Mississippi class of 2017, Starkville (MS) High School's Jesse Little, camped at Mississippi State last week.

Although he obviously still has some room to grow on his 6-foot-8, 175-pound frame, Starkville High School 2017 forward/center Jesse Little certainly has some tools to work with. During the Mississippi State camp, he showed great court awareness and good passing ability to go along with a solid offensive game.

Little talked about the positives of his overall game and something that he still needs a lot of work on.

"I feel like I can post up sometimes but I can also step out and hit some jumpers, some threes ever now and then," said Little. "I'm also a decent rebounder. I also have a pretty good basketball IQ. I need to improve my perimeter defense a lot."

According to Little, three colleges have already started showing recruiting interest in him.

"From what I have heard, I have Middle Tennessee State, Samford University and Mississippi State showing recruiting interest in me," said the talented youngster.

He has grown up a fan of Mississippi State but is still very new to the recruiting process. Due to that, he's not ready to name a leader recruiting-wise.

"I like Mississippi State a lot but I don't really know right now," said Little.
