He explained what his team works on while at a team camp.
"We have to rebuild that chemistry that we lost (due to the seniors graduating) and the new guys coming in,": said Wiley. "We have to learn what this person does best and how they react to some things on the court. Just overall, we want to get that chemistry that we lost."
Individually, he is keying on one thing when camping this summer.
"What I want to develop at a camp like this is leadership skills so that I can be more of a leader for the younger guys coming in," said Wiley.
He is also trying to enhance his recruitment. And his performance at the Mississippi State caught the attention of Mississippi State head coach Rick Ray because Wiley and several of his teammates were invited to talk to Coach Ray in his office after the camp was over.
"By Coach Ray having us in his office, that let us know that we are being looked at by him," said Wiley. "He is interested in us due to our skills on the court. We just need to continue to step up and show him that we have it."
His overall impression of Mississippi State is very favorable due to his camp experience.
"It is a great, great school, a great program," said Wiley. "It is definitely something that I would want if given the opportunity. I could see myself being with the coaching staff because I really liked how they talked to us. They talked to us about the positive and negative things. They talked to us about having our grades right."
As of now, Wiley has several colleges showing recruiting attention in him.
"Murray State, Mississippi State, William and Mary, Troy, West Virginia and a few more are recruiting me," said Wiley. "I have received an offer from Richmond University."
The recruiting attention and the offer has given him a lot of confidence in his game.
"Receiving that offer was a big step as far as building my confidence up," said Wiley. "That tells me that I have the skills to be looked at by these colleges. It tells me that all of my hard work is starting to pay off."
