Milligan, very likely, is one of the top recruits in the class of 2017. A very good hitter, he's also a 6-foot-3, 195-pound lefthanded pitcher who already throws in the 86-88 range, topping out at 90. Three SEC schools are already heavily recruiting him, despite the fact that he's still just 15-years-old.

"Ole Miss, Mississippi State are showing interest in me right now," said Milligan. "Mississippi State has offered me."

He explained what each school likes about him.

Ole Miss - "Ole Miss said they like how I can swing the bat, too. They said they like my upside."

Arkansas - "Arkansas said that they like how I repeat my delivery. They said they like how I can swing the bat. They said I was one of their top recruits."

Mississippi State - "Mississippi State said they like how I can swing the bat, too. They are going to give me a chance to be a two-way player. (Pitching) Coach (Butch) Thompson said he likes how my ball shares the same space. He said my curveball and fastball look the same."

He's visited all three programs during the past few months.

"I visited Mississippi State recently, probably about six weeks ago," said Milligan. "I probably visited Ole Miss during the weekday when we were still in school. I visited Arkansas a little before Ole Miss."

He explained the things he learned about each school while visiting them.

Mississippi State "I like the facilities and campus at Mississippi State. I like Coach Thompson a bunch. I think he is one of the best pitching coaches in the country. (Assistant) Coach (Nick) Ming (Mingione) is nice. I haven't talked to (head) Coach (John) Cohen but I'm sure he is as nice as they are. I like how Mississippi State gets big crowds so that you get to play in front of a lot of people."

Ole Miss - "Ole Miss has nice facilities, too. I like (assistant) Coach (Carl) Lafferty a bunch."

Arkansas - "I've grown up a fan of Arkansas. Arkansas' facilities aren't as nice as the other two schools."

He explained what he is looking for in a college.

"I am looking for a good pitching coach," said Milligan. "I want coaches who will help you out, not just yell at you every time that you made a mistake. The coaches being christians is important."

Academics are also important and one of the three schools that he is currently looking at made an impression on him due to the importance they placed on academics during his visit to the three schools.

"Academic-wise, I like Mississippi State because we toured their academic center," said Milligan. "They didn't do that at the other two schools. We just toured the baseball facility at the other schools."

Although it's still very early in the recruiting process, Milligan has an idea when he may commit.

"The latest that I will probably commit is after my 10th grade year," said Milligan. "That's the latest."
