"I am looking forward to getting back up there and being around the coaches again," said Washington. "It's been a while since I have been up there, so I'm excited about going back up there again.
"Coach (Greg) Knox and Coach (Geoff) Collins are recruiting me and I just talked to them this past week.
"I have been real busy this summer working and trying to get my personal workouts in, so I haven't been talking to many college coaches.
"When things sort of settled down for me, I started talking with Coach Knox and Coach Collins."
Washington attended Big Dawg camp last summer where he was easily one of the top underclassmen in attendance.
This year the talented linebacker comes to town as a committed prospect rather than a hopeful recruit looking for an offer.
The four star talent will have the chance to reunite with many of the Bulldogs' other pledges for the 2015 signing class.
"I know most all of them," said Washington of his committed peers. "I am looking forward to being around everybody and just having a chance to compete together this weekend."
Some have suggested that Washington may be wavering after making a commitment last fall, but the talented linebacker reports that he still plans to be a Bulldog.
"I am still solid with Mississippi State," said Washington. "My mama just wants me to keep my options open, because you never know what might happen."
What is happening now is Washington is preparing to take the field this fall in hopes of making his senior season his best one on the prep level.
"The main thing I want is to have a winning season," said Washington. "Everybody is working hard and the team looks pretty good.
"We're going to be ready for the season."
