Mississippi State received seven commitments before, during and after the Big Dawg Camp, something that Dear and the other MSU commitments have been working on the past few weeks.
"Some of us commitments have been trying to put this together for awhile," said Dear. "We have all been talking. We wanted to get Jamal (Peters) committed. And I just started talking to Leo (Lewis) earlier today, and I just found out that he has decommitted (from Alabama). I think he's going to end up at Mississippi State."
He explained what he is telling the players.
aa "We tell them to keep it all together," he said. "Ole Miss did it last year, so we are going to do it this year."
One of the things that impressed him about the Big Dawg Camp was the number of current Mississippi State players who came out to watch the camp.
"It feels good to see players that you watch on Saturday are here watching you play and cheering you on," said Dear. "It's a family thing. It makes you feel good and motivates you to play harder."
