Graham should decide soon

He got to visit a few campuses this summer and he has a collection of twenty scholarship offers to play college football. With all of that in mind, Wauchula (Fla.) Hardee County linebacker Derrick Graham says he is possibly going to decide on the college he wishes to attend, sometime before his senior season begins in a little over a month.

Derrick Graham camped and visited South Alabama, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Florida, and Georgia Tech this summer. Taking his talent to the field to prove his worth to the many college coaches that were willing to watch, he turned heads at all the schools and now has 20 offers with UCF and Georgia Tech being the last two.

The big time athlete has offers from three SEC schools including the Florida Gators and says that defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin is recruiting him to the Gators and they are telling him they like him as an athlete that could play on either side of the ball.

“Coach Durkin talks about me coming down and visiting,” Graham said Saturday evening. “I plan on visiting some time before school starts.”

The native of Gainesville, says that the college town and home of the gators could be his final destination.

“It could definitely happen,” he said.

He isn’t giving up too many hints at this point, but Graham does tell us what he will base his final decision on.

“I am thinking of deciding before the season,” he said. “It will be based on how I feel towards the coaches and the bond I have with the players.”

With a decision looming, stay tuned to Scout as we prepare for his announcement.
