Little is a player to watch over the course of the next three years. And one set of coaches, Mississippi State's, has already taken notice of the talented big man.
"I know that they are interested in me because I have received a letter from them," said Little, who camped at MSU this past summer.
He visited Mississippi State a couple of Saturdays ago and spent some time with the current MSU basketball players.
"I went and played with the basketball team," said Little. "They were playing some pickup games. I played with them and hung out with them. It was fun."
He's also talked to the MSU coaches a few times when on campus and has come away impressed.
"I like (Mississippi State head basketball) Coach (Rick) Ray a lot and all of the other coaches that I have met," said Little.
Little had a very good season last year playing for the Starkville High School freshman squad. He's hoping to take a big step forward by becoming a starter on the varsity squad this coming season.
"I played on the freshman team last year and averaged something like 16 points per game and 12 rebounds per game," said Little. "I am going to do my best to start on the varsity this season."
Little will give Starkville some much needed height and hopes to continue to add more weight to his frame.
"I am 6-foot-9 and (weigh) 175 (pounds) right now and I want to at least get to 230," said Little, who plays both the 4 and the 5.
