ScoutTV: Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott

That 2012 experience was fun and all, particularly producing a touchdown on his first touch at Tiger Stadium as a Bulldog backup. “That was exciting,” Dak Prescott says. “But to go back and know the whole game is mine and I can control the whole offense and the team is behind me, is pretty exciting.”

It’s just as true for the whole Mississippi State squad as well. Because for this 2014 trip to Baton Rouge, they have an exciting play-maker running the show. Though, now that he’s a veteran of SEC battles with a share of victories, the excitement to Prescott is a little different.

A little more controlled, focused, and yes even confident about taking on the #8 Tigers in their lair. One which Prescott had an opportunity to call his own home after a late-day offer. Staying with Mississippi State took him east of the River and has put him in charge of Bulldog fortunes, which are about to get tested in Baton Rouge.

Yeah, “It’s cool for my family,” said Prescott of appearing back in his native state. “But it’s just about the game.”
