  • Describe yourself as a player. What are our strengths and things that you are still working on?
    "Defensively, I like to block a lot of shots. Most of the points that I score are off my defense. I like to block the shot then go down the court and dunk the ball. I like to dunk a lot. I'm not really a shooter, I like to drive (to the basket)."

    What things are you working on?
    "I'm working on my ball-handling. I'm also working on my mid-range game. (My AAU coach) Omhar (Carter) helps me out with my form."

    When did you first notice that you had a special gift on the basketball court?
    "In the sixth grade I got a lot better over the summer. Omhar (added me to his AAU team). He told me that I was really good."

    Do you know what schools are showing interest in your right now?
    "I know that Mississippi State is, Baylor, Ohio State. Omhar tells me that they are showing interest in me."

    You are just a freshman and these schools are already showing interest in you. What are your thoughts about that?
    "It makes me feel good. But I know that I need to work harder and that I have to keep my grades up because a lot of college want me and I want to be able to go to a D-I college."

    "He has offers from Ohio State, Mississippi State, Baylor, Tennessee and Memphis."
