What are your strengths on the basketball court?
"My strengths are that I can shoot the ball, shoot the threes and shoot the mid-range. I can also get to the rim and I'm good at passing the ball to my teammates. I have also gotten to where I can defend other guards well, too."
You are 6-foot-3 and have grown quite a bit the past couple of years. Has that growth spurt helped you as a point guard?
"It has helped me because now I am taller than the other point guards and I can see over their defense. I can also use my body against smaller point guards."
What schools are recruiting you?
"Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Middle Tennessee State and South Alabama."
What schools are calling you?
"Mississippi State and South Alabama have called me. Southern Miss is sending letters."
What do they talk to you about when they call you?
"South Alabama asks me how I am doing and how I am progressing. Mississippi State's coach talks to me about how he likes how I play and that he likes my size as a point guard."
What coach called you from Mississippi State?
"Coach (George) Brooks."
What are your thoughts about him?
"He is a nice dude. And I think he is pretty good at coaching, too. Things that he tells me, he knows what he is talking about. Most of the advice that he gives me I put it in the game and it works."
Have any of the schools visited your high school to check on you?
"Middle Tennessee State came to the school. And Mississippi State came and watched practice a couple of weeks ago."
What are your thoughts about the schools showing interest in you?
"I like Mississippi State and I like Middle Tennessee State."
