MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update Week 7

Just about all of the Mississippi State 2015 commitments were in action last week as district play got underway for most programs. Most Bulldogs to be were able to pick up a win last week thanks to their own valuable contributions.

Jonnas Spivey led Bay Springs to a 36-28 win over Richton. During the game, Spivey was 6 of 8 passing for 82 yards. He also added three scores on the ground. The Bulldogs (5-2) will play at Pisgah this week.

Kenatvious Thomas scored two touchdowns as the Wildcat quarterback in a 22-19 win over Veterans. Baldwin (3-3) is idle this week.

Nick Gibson ran or 110 yards and a score as Pinson Valley earned a 13-7 win over Huffman. PVHS (3-4) will enjoy a bye week.

Keith Mixon scored three touchdowns in Shades Valley's 42-35 win over Gardendale. Mixon and Shades Valley (6-0) will take on Clay-Chakville (6-0) and fellow Bulldog verbal Kendell Jones this week. CCHS picked up a 49-6 win over Center Point last week to set up a battle of undefeateds this week.

Justin Johnson and Hoover blasted rival Spain Park 42-14. The Bucs (4-2) will take on Tuscaloosa County this week.

New Bulldog pledge Anfernee Mullins and Aliceville won 54-28 over Greene County. AHS (7-0) will travel to Gordo in hopes of hanging on to their #1 spot in the polls.

Darrien McNair and Trinity Catholic got back on track in a big way this past week as they shelled Maclay 55-16. TC (4-1) will host Tampa Jesuit this week.

Jamal Peters had a 42 yard touchdown catch as Bassfield (6-1) rolled over West Lincoln 58-0. The Yellowjackets will host Enterprise this Friday night.

Mark McLaurin had four tackles and recovered a fumble in Collins' 40-0 win over Prentiss. Now 5-2, Collins travel to St. Joe's.

Fletcher Adams and Brandon knocked off Forest Hill 34-7. In a huge match-up this week, Brandon (5-1) will host Petal.

Cameron Myers and Oak Grove entertained Petal last week and found the upside of a 62-21 decision. Oak Grove (5-0) will host Meridian in a huge district game tomorrow night.

Tommy Champion and Callaway got by Neshoba Central 35-21 for their second win on the season. The Chargers will look to keep it going this week as they play at Lanier.

Chris Stamps and Warren Central continue to be very stingy on defense. The Vikings won 54-7 over Greenville last week, but the level of competition goes up tremendously this week as the Vikes (6-0) host Madison Central.

Deddrick Thomas and Memphis-Central rolled to 5-2 after a 25-8 dispatching of Hamilton. Central will host St. Benedict this week

Keith Joseph Jr. and Pascagoula got by East Central 28-10. It is rivalry week this week as the Panthers travel to Picayune.

Maurice Smitherman and Minor lost a heartbreaker to Homewood, 14-13. MHS (3-3) will play at John Carroll this week.

Trey Derouen and Parkview had a bye week last week PHS (2-3) will travel to Berkmar this week.

Malik Dear scored a pair of touchdowns in Murrah's first loss of the year, 55-28 to Madison Central. The Mustangs (6-1) will play Clinton this Friday.

Jonathan Calvin had two sacks and Donald Gray did his part to help the Co-Lin offense in a 20-9 over Pearl River. It's homecoming this week as the Pack hosts Hinds on Saturday.

Chason Virgil was 19 of 32 with four touchdowns in a loss to Poteet, 37-35. West Mesquite (4-1) is off this week.

Dontea Jones is sidelined with a knee injury, but his Wildcats rolled on Winona, 39-0.

Alec Murphy is also recovering from a knee injury and missed his third straight week. Nixa (3-4) hope to have him back this week as they play Carthage.

Farrod Green and Wesson fell to Hazlehurst 22-20. The Cobras (2-5) will travel to Crystal Springs this week.

Tim Washington and Yazoo City got routed by Greenwood 37-7. The Indians will look to rebound at home this week against Cleveland.

Nick Tiano tossed one touchdown against rival McCallie in a 35-9 setback. Baylor (6-1) will play at Oakland tomorrow night.

Harrison Moon and Signal Mountain also tasted defeat for the firs time this season last week with a 35-3 loss to Notre Dame. The Eagles (6-1) will play at Chattanooga Central this week.

Jarvis Wilson scored a two point conversion in a 14-11 loss to Grenada. Tupelo (5-1) will travel to Southaven this weekend.
