"Basically my number was called and ended up making a play on the ball," Brown said. "I should have had it the first time he threw it to me, but he came back to me.
"Dak just had confidence me and I was able to make the play."
Brown's ten yard touchdown grab came off on option route where showed an inside move and then ran an out route to the sideline. Just before falling out of bounds, Brown showed some rather fancy footwork dropping both feet inside the outer boundary.
"We worked on doing that all summer," Brown said. "Me and Fred Ross worked on that a lot. We spent a lot of time making sure we were able to touch our toes on plays like that.
"We just feel like if Dak throws a good ball in our area, then we have to go and catch it."
Brown reports that the team understands what it is out stake next weekend, but this past week the Bulldogs were focused on the task at hand.
"This week we were all focused on Tennessee-Martin, but now we're all about Alabama," said Brown. "We are all in on Bama and we have to get this win and we know we have to work hard to get it."
After taking a day of rest on Sunday, the Bulldog preparations for the Crimson Tide will begin in earnest on Monday.
"Coach said that we have to come to work on Monday," said Brown. "We have to come in ready to prepare every day and we can't take any days off. It's going to be a good game. We are going to come out and fight and be physical like we always do.
