East Mississippi, Mississippi Gulf Coast, Itawamba and Northwest Community college are just some of the junior college programs that have extended an offer to the athletic big man from Ripley.

Story is grateful for every opportunity thrown his way, but he is hopeful that a four year school close to home gives him the chance to chase his college football future.

"I am hearing from just about all of the JuCos and I am hearing from Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Ole Miss," said Story. "I feel like I am going to get some other offers soon. Mississippi State has been saying some good things and Southern Miss has too."

Mississippi State was one of several programs to go see Story play in person this fall.

"Coach (Scott) Sallach from Mississippi State came to see me play," said Story. "They have stayed in touch with me and they are telling me to just be patient with them.

"They keep telling me that they are just waiting to see how things work out, but they think they are going to end up offering me."

Two other Mississippi schools remain in some sort of contact as well.

"I went to a camp at Southern Miss and they are saying some of the same things Mississippi State is saying about offering me later on," explained Story. "I hear from Ole Miss every once in a while, but they stay in touch with me some."

Story has some relatives who have been part of the Ole Miss football program, but from the sound of things Mississippi State has made a solid impression on the talented big man.

"I would probably end up going to Mississippi State if I had to choose between them," said Story. "I went to Mississippi State's camp and I really liked working with Coach (John) Hevesy.

"Coach Hevesy comes right at you and just tells you how it is. I like that about him and I like it up there at Mississippi State. They are having a good year."

Story has attended several Mississippi State home games this season and will once again be on the prospect list for the Bulldogs game this weekend. MSU hosts Vanderbilt in the final home game of the 2014 campaign on Saturday.
